Colorado Springs is an especially beautiful area.
- The city is situated at the eastern foot of the Rocky Mountains and in close proximity to Pikes Peak.
There are extensive hiking trails and a cog railway leading to its summit. The landscape is stunning. The four distinct seasons bring something new every few months. I also like to explore the city’s Garden of the Gods park and the red-sandstone formations and mountain views. I spend every free moment outdoors. I jog, cycle, hike, climb, kayak, ski and all sorts of sports. Owning a home was way too much responsibility. Instead of getting outdoors and breathing fresh air, I was changing HVAC filters, cleaning gutters, draining the water heater and cleaning toilets. I hated vacuuming, washing windows, mopping and mowing the lawn. Every time I’d look forward to a fun weekend, something would go wrong at home. I started neglecting those problems. The house began to deteriorate. By the time I decided to sell, the house was in bad shape. I spoke with a realtor and received a long list of repairs that needed to be done. There was no way I was willing to take on such a big project. Scheduling service contractors would have been very demanding on my time and budget. Once the renovations were completed, I’d be subjected to all sorts of responsibilities for showings. For me, a better alternative was to work with a cash home buyer. I was able to handle the majority of the steps online. The closing was a breeze. We scheduled the closing according to my convenience.
